It all started in 1985
With a joint venture in 1985 between my brother-in-law, Jim Hermanson, and me, Ed Inglese, our two families started a 750 square foot Italian pizza and pasta house in Southern California, named Spaghetti Eddie’s. We served a small Italian menu which guests quickly recognized for the foods superior quality and taste. After a couple of years we were elbow to elbow on many nights of the week and inundated with phone orders for take-out so in 1987 we expanded and eventually became a 4500 square foot, full service restaurant.
Tutti Mangia… Then Eddie’s Cucina Italiana.
To further advance our culinary boundaries in 1996, we decided to open Tutti Mangia Italian Grill in Claremont, CA. The mission of this restaurant was to focus on flavors from the grill and serve Italian cuisine in a more upscale environment. It became an instant success and has won many accolades and awards through the years. Since then, we have opened up other restaurants; Eddie’s New York Pizzeria and now… Eddie’s Cucina Italiana.
